Your Personal Trainer

I am Max Eaves, a former Team GB Pole Vaulter who had the honour of representing his country at the Commonwealth Games in Delhi and Glasgow and at the European Games, in Helsinki. I was privileged to stand on the podium in Delhi, where I was awarded a Commonwealth Bronze medal.

Maintaining a high level of fitness has always been important to me. Even more so, since meeting my fiancée, Hayley. Since our baby arrived, we have both changed our outlook on the things in life that are important to us as a family. Health and longevity are at the forefront now and gives us the motivation to work hard and stay fit.

Of course, achieving lifestyle change is often difficult to do and using my years of experience competing at a world class level in athletics, I appreciate how the body is constantly challenged to maintain a balanced, injury free state. I gained an incredible wealth of knowledge whilst working alongside the best performance staff at British Athletics, as a funded athlete at Loughborough University and I enjoy adapting my experience and utilising it to meet the needs of private clients.

I have an artillery of training methods to get you the results you are after, be it the usual goals of fat loss, or muscle gain, along with increased flexibility or strengthening of joints to recover from and prevent future injuries.

Risk Reward

To achieve the above, training programmes are designed with ‘risk reward’ being at the forefront. It’s no fun being injured, so the goal is to be able to train regularly and not take months off due to a blown disc in your back, or a frozen shoulder etc.

I prioritise my client’s vision, which aligns with my own; to look and feel a decade younger. So don’t just turn up for a session at any gym. Make your sessions count at Maximise Fitness, with a bespoke programme, designed specifically to meet your goals and supported with regular check-ins and 1-2-1 catch ups. At Maximise Fitness I am building a ‘fitness family’ who appreciate bespoke, high-quality training that achieves results.
